


New to Painter IX is the Quick Clone feature, which enables painting bits of one image into
another. However, much like Photoshop’s Art History Brush, Quick Clone can also be used for more artistic effects
beyond strictly defined cloning. In fact, it is used to great success in painting texture and depth into a portrait
by Digital Media Designer’s David Nagel.
